Welcome! (Only accepting online clients at this time.) I am glad you have taken the time to visit this website. Over the years I have heard too many stories of people suffering from the negative effects of stress and trauma for years, even decades, without getting effective treatment. Experiencing stressful, traumatic events is incredibly common, but very personal for us at the same time. My heart goes out to people who have experienced life-altering events, and I know these events can deeply affect our functioning and relationships. I have learned we do not have to suffer indefinitely. Help is available! The methods used to recover from stressful life events and trauma have improved dramatically over the last several years. New advances in somatic and holistic therapies have made mental-health treatment very effective. Some of these methods include EFT, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Therapeutic Breathing, Guided Imagery and other therapies which spark the body’s ability to heal while creating feelings of being safe and supported. There is no reason to live with distressing symptoms related to stress, drama or trauma when healing is also an option. I always work within a client's comfort zone with utmost respect. I encourage growth and trying new things, within each client's comfort zone.
